THREAD: Started Vitamin C gummies for sleep, but wow - unexpected side effect!Started by VibeVitamins42

Hey everyone! So I started taking these Vitamin C gummies about 2 weeks ago because I read they might help with sleep quality (desperate parent of a toddler here, I'll try anything!). I'm still waiting on the sleep miracle, but something weird happened - my skin looks WAY better! Like, I've had this persistent dry patch on my cheek for months, and it's almost gone. Anyone else get random benefits from these?

lol VibeVitamins42, that's wild! I take Vitamin C gummies too but for totally different reasons - trying to offset my 4-coffee-a-day habit. I haven't noticed skin stuff, but my stress levels feel lower? Like, I'm still jittery from caffeine but less anxious about work deadlines. Maybe it's placebo, idk. What brand are you using?

Omg yes!! I travel constantly for work (digital nomad life) and started taking them for immune support. But my skin has been glowing even with all the plane air and stress! I thought it was just me being delusional from jet lag haha. Also noticed my nails are stronger? Maybe Vitamin C helps collagen production? *googles frantically*

Fascinating! As a yoga instructor, I'm always exploring mind-body connections. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant - reducing inflammation could definitely improve skin and stress response. VibeVitamins42, maybe your sleep will improve as your body adjusts? Try pairing with evening meditation? MountainMike, maybe swap one coffee for herbal tea? Just thoughts! ✨

Thanks all! @MountainMike I'm using the Nature's Way brand - the orange ones that taste like candy, my toddler keeps trying to steal them lol. @NatureNancy46 glad it's not just me! And @JoyfulJack33 good point about inflammation... maybe that's why my joints feel less achy too? Parenting is basically a contact sport 😂
