Ok so I'm going on a road trip next week and then flying to Denver for a hike, and I just realized I have no idea how to pack my vitamin C gummies. Will they melt in the car? It gets hot af here. Also TSA - do they count as liquid? I'm not trying to get flagged for a bag of orange gummies lol. Any tips? I'm a total newbie at this.

Oh honey, I've been traveling with gummies for years (grandkids and my own joints). They WILL melt if you leave them in a hot car. Trust me, I learned the hard way - had a bottle of vitamin C gummies turn into a sticky blob in my glovebox. Now I always pack them in a cooler bag or at least keep them in the AC. For TSA, I've never had an issue - they're solid, not liquid. Just put them in your carry-on and you're fine. But if they're in a resealable bag, sometimes they swab them. No biggie.

Hey Cathy! Wellness traveler here 🌿 I always bring my C gummies on trips. Pro tip: transfer them to a small silicone bag or a pill organizer so they don't clump. Also, if you're hiking, avoid leaving them in direct sun - the heat + humidity = gummy soup. For flights, I've never had TSA question them. They might look like candy, but they're supplements. Just keep them in original packaging if you're worried. And don't forget to hydrate! ✨

Thanks guys! So cooler bag for the car, and TSA is chill. What about humidity though? I'm going to be in Colorado where it's dry, but the car ride is through Kansas and it's gonna be like 90 degrees. Should I get those silica packets? Or is that overkill?

Silica packets can help but honestly, just keep them in a ziplock and squeeze the air out. And if you're really worried, freeze them before you leave - they'll thaw slowly and stay firm longer. I do that with my fish oil gummies too. Works like a charm. Have a great trip!
