THREAD: Vitamin C Gummies - Unexpected Benefits?Started by EcoEllen430

Hey everyone! So I started taking vitamin C gummies a few weeks ago to help with my sleep issues (I read somewhere they can help regulate cortisol). But honestly, my sleep is still hit or miss... BUT my skin has never looked better! I spend a lot of time outdoors taking nature photos, and my complexion is clearer and more radiant. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Maybe it's the antioxidants? Just curious if this is common!

omg Ellen, totally! I started taking them for stress relief during my eco-activism work (the world can be overwhelming sometimes lol). I haven't noticed less stress yet, but my skin is glowing too! I think it's the natural antioxidants fighting free radicals from pollution. Are you using an organic brand? I switched to a plant-based one with no artificial colors, and it feels so much cleaner for my body and the planet ❤️

Interesting! As a marathon runner, I take vitamin C for immune support during heavy training. I haven't paid much attention to my skin, but now that you mention it, I did notice fewer breakouts this season. Maybe it helps with inflammation? What dosage are you both taking? I'm at 500mg daily, but I wonder if timing matters—I take mine post-run.

Love this thread! I'm vegan and started vitamin C gummies to boost iron absorption from my plant-based diet. Skin benefits? YES! My acne scars have faded noticeably, and my complexion is more even. It might be the collagen production boost—vitamin C is essential for that. Just make sure your gummies are cruelty-free and vegan, folks! Many have gelatin 😕 Anyone have brand recs?
