Anyone tried those '8 best' vitamin D gummies?
Just saw this article: '8 best vitamin D supplements for health and immunity – tried and tested'. Looks like a solid list but I'm curious what you guys think. Anyone tried any of these? I'm leaning towards the gummy options since I hate pills.
I make my own vitamin D gummies at home with organic ingredients! Way cheaper and you control what goes in. But if you're buying, look for ones with no artificial colors or high fructose corn syrup. The article's list seems decent but I'd skip anything with gelatin if you're plant-based.
As a student, I'm all about budget-friendly options. I've been using the Kirkland brand gummies from Costco – they're like $15 for 200 gummies. Not fancy but they work! The article's list has some pricey ones. Anyone know if those are really worth the extra cash?
Paleo here. I avoid most gummies cause they usually have sugar or corn syrup. I get my D3 from cod liver oil or sun exposure. But if you need gummies, check the sugar content – some have 2-3g per gummy which adds up. The article's number 5 pick seemed decent, but I'd still rather get it from food sources.
Thanks for the input! I might try the homemade route, Yara. BerryBen, I'll check out the Kirkland ones – that price is hard to beat. Greg, good point about sugar, I'll keep an eye on that. Anyone else have experience with the specific brands listed?
