Just read this article and it's got me questioning my whole routine. I've been using those gummy D3 + K2 drops from Garden of Life for months now. Anyone else think gummies are just a placebo for adults who hate swallowing pills? 😂

Ugh, I need answers too. My kid refuses to take anything but gummies, and I'm already sleep-deprived trying to force-feed him vitamins. But if they're less effective, what's the point? I'll trade a tantrum for efficacy any day.

Honestly, the key is bioavailability. Most gummies use inferior forms of vitamins. For D3, look for lanolin-derived or lichen-based. Also, gummies often have added sugars and gelatin that can interfere with absorption. Pill form is usually more consistent. But if you hate pills, try a sublingual spray.

@KaleKen217 Good point about the sugars. My gummies taste like candy, which is probably a red flag. But do you know if the D3 in gummies is usually synthetic? The article mentioned something about that but didn't go into detail.

@KaleKen217 Thanks for the tip on sprays! I'll look into those for my kid. Anyone have a brand rec that doesn't taste like ass? Also, what about those chewable tablets? Are those essentially the same as gummies?
