Hey everyone! I'm going on a road trip and then flying to visit family. I take Vitamin D gummies every day and don't want to skip a dose. But I'm worried about them melting in the car or in my carry-on. Also, does TSA have any issues with gummy supplements? Any tips for keeping them safe?

I stick to the classic tablets myself – why mess with something that works? But for your question, keep them in a cool place, not in direct sunlight. If you're flying, put them in a clear bag, no issues with TSA. Just don't let them sit in a hot car!

I've brought gummies on planes many times. No TSA problems at all. For melting, I put them in a small insulated bag with an ice pack – works great! Also, try to get a travel-friendly container, like a silicone pouch. Maybe even look for gummies with a higher melting point, but not sure if that's a thing.

Pro tip: Use a smart pill organizer that monitors temperature. I have one that sends alerts to my phone if it gets too hot. Some even have a cooling feature. For TSA, leave them in the original bottle if you can, otherwise a baggie is fine. And yeah, avoid leaving them in the car – I learned the hard way!
