Hey all! I'm heading on a road trip from NY to FL and want to bring my vitamin D gummies. Problem is, it's gonna be hot and they might melt. Anyone had issues with gummies melting during travel? Also, what's the TSA rule for these? Are they considered liquids? Thanks!

Great question! Gummies are solid, so they're fine with TSA – just keep them in original packaging or a labeled bag. For melting, I always store mine in a small insulated pouch or even a cooler bag if it's really hot. Avoid leaving them in the car in direct sunlight. Also, you can freeze them beforehand – they thaw fine!

I learned the hard way – left a bottle in my gym bag on a hot day and it turned into a gooey mess. Now I use a small Benton lunch box with an ice pack for long trips. Also, don't forget that humidity can make them sticky. A silica gel pack in the container helps.

When I flew to visit my grandkids, I put my gummies in my carry-on. TSA didn't bat an eye. But I also wrapped the bottle in a sock for extra insulation. On the plane, the cabin is cool so no worries there. Just don't check them in baggage – heard stories of suitcases getting hot.
