Hey all! I'm new to gummy vitamins and just started taking these Vitamin D gummies. I usually have a cup of coffee in the morning and was wondering if it's okay to take them together. Any thoughts? Also, I've heard vitamin D is fat-soluble, does that matter with coffee? Thanks!

Hey Kevin! Totally get the coffee thing, I'm the same way! From my experience, it's totally safe to take vitamin D with coffee. I've been doing it for years. But to get the most out of it, try to take it with a meal that has some healthy fats, like avocado or eggs. Coffee alone might not help absorption as much. Also, just a tip: I've seen people get jittery if they take certain supplements with coffee, but vitamin D is fine. Hope that helps!

As a purist, I say keep it simple! I've been taking gummy vitamins for decades, and I always take them with water, not coffee. Coffee can interfere with the absorption of some nutrients, but for vitamin D, it's not a big deal. However, to be safe and get the full benefit, I'd take the gummy with a meal that includes fat, and wait an hour or so before your coffee. Just my two cents!

Thanks for the tips! I'll try taking them with breakfast and maybe hold off on the coffee for a bit. I also take a magnesium supplement at night, is that okay with vitamin D? I've read they work together.

Oh yes! Magnesium and vitamin D are like BFFs. They help each other out. I take both too, but I do vitamin D in the morning and magnesium at night. That way they don't compete and I sleep better. But you do you, just listen to your body!
