THREAD: Vitamin D Gummies - Weird side effect? Anyone else?Started by MindfulMila730

Hey everyone! I started taking Vitamin D gummies about 2 weeks ago (the organic, no-artificial-colors kind from Whole Foods) and I've been having the most VIVID dreams! Like, full-color, detailed adventures every night. It's not scary or anything, just... intense. Has anyone else experienced this with Vitamin D gummies? My kids take them too but they haven't mentioned anything. Just curious if it's a 'me' thing or a supplement thing!

Oh wow, that's interesting! I'm always skeptical about these things - are you sure it's the gummies? Could be stress, diet changes, or even just noticing dreams more. My son takes vitamin D gummies (the cheap store brand) and no weird effects, but now I'm gonna watch him closer lol. Maybe check the dosage? Some brands pack way more than the daily value.

Actually, vivid dreams with Vitamin D supplementation are documented anecdotally in biohacking circles! Vitamin D influences serotonin pathways and sleep regulation. I've experienced it myself when I megadosed (10,000 IU gummies) during winter. OP - what's your dosage? Are you taking them at night? Try switching to morning intake if so. Also, check if your gummies have added melatonin or B6 - those are dream-enhancers.

Haha yeah I got the bright orange urine thing when I first tried the new citrus-flavored D3+K2 gummies last month! Freaked me out for a sec but it's just the riboflavin (B2) they add for color/stability. Dreams though? Not me. But I'm an early adopter of like 5 different gummy brands - the premium ones with added adaptogens gave me weird taste bud changes for a week. Bodies react differently!
