Just read this article: "What Happens to Your Body When You Take Vitamin D Every Day". It says it's critical for health, but I'm curious what you all think. Do you take it daily? Any noticeable effects?

I've been taking a gummy vitamin D3 2000 IU for about 6 months now. I'm a broke college student, so I go for the cheapest decent brand. I swear I get sick less often. Not sure if placebo, but hey, it works for me!

As a grandparent, I worry about bone health. My doc said most older adults are deficient. I take 1000 IU daily and my levels went from low to normal. Plus, my grandkids think the gummies are candy, haha! But hidden in the cupboard.

Crossfit junkie here. I take 5000 IU daily in the winter because I live in the north. Helps with muscle recovery and mood. But don't overdo it, you can get toxicity if you megadose. Get bloodwork done if you can. Also, pairing with K2 is key for absorption.
