"What happens when you take Vitamin D every day?" Article thoughts?
Just read this article: https://www.example.com/vitamin-d-every-day. It says taking Vit D daily can improve bone health, immune function, and mood. I'm a bit skeptical about the mood part though. What do you guys think? Any personal experiences?
Good question! Vitamin D is actually a hormone precursor, not really a vitamin. Most people are deficient, especially in winter. The mood link is real - there are Vitamin D receptors in the brain. But don't expect a miracle, it's just one piece of the puzzle.
I started taking D3 gummies a few months ago, and honestly, I feel like my mood is a bit more stable. Still sleep-deprived with a toddler, but at least I don't feel as down. Could be placebo though... Anyone else notice a difference?
Night shift worker here - I take 2000 IU daily because I never see the sun. I definitely feel more energetic and haven't gotten sick as often. But make sure you take it with fat, like a meal, for absorption.
My grandkids suggested I take Vit D for my bones. Been on it for 6 months. Can't say I feel different, but my doctor says my levels went from low to normal. Better safe than sorry, I guess. I use gummies because they're easier to swallow.
