Hey y’all – I’m looking to get a health gift for my dad (67, always tired, a bit grumpy) and also for my gym buddy (28, obsessed with recovery). Thought about these Goli Ashwagandha gummies with KSM-66 and vitamin D. Anyone tried them? Good for older folks? Or should I go with something else? Dad is not a pill guy, so gummies are ideal.

I’m all about that paleo life and I take these Goli gummies daily. KSM-66 is legit for cortisol control – your dad could benefit from lower stress. The vitamin D is a plus especially if he’s indoors a lot. For your gym friend: Ashwagandha helps with recovery and maybe muscle strength. But if he’s really into fitness, he might prefer a separate D3/K2 combo. These are more of a chill pill than a pre-workout.

I’m a holistic healer and I recommend ashwagandha for adrenal support. The KSM-66 extract is well-studied. For your dad, the mixed berry flavor is mild and pleasant – even my picky mom liked them. Just be aware: ashwagandha can lower blood pressure and thyroid hormones if taken in high doses, but the Goli dose is moderate. For the gym friend, maybe combine with a magnesium glycinate for deeper sleep. Overall, a solid gift!

Retired nurse here! My husband (72) was on blood pressure meds and I checked with his doc before giving him these – no interactions. He noticed better mood and less afternoon slump after a month. The texture is soft, easy to chew even with dentures. For your friend: if he’s into hardcore fitness, these are more for relaxation than explosive energy. But stress reduction helps muscle repair. I’d say go for it, but maybe add a protein snack for variety.

As an intermittent faster, I take these during my eating window. They don’t break a fast (if you count 5 calories from the gummy). I find them helpful for managing cravings and keeping calm on long fasts. For your dad, a 5-pack is good value. For your friend, see if he’s okay with the sugar? It’s only 1g per serving, so fine for most. But if he’s keto, maybe not. Otherwise, great product. Bet he’ll appreciate the thought.
