Anyone else having vivid dreams on these prenatals?
Okay so I've been taking these for about a week now (the citrus berry ones are actually pretty tasty btw) and I've been having the craziest, most vivid dreams. Like full on movie plots that I remember when I wake up. Not bad, just weird. Also, I've noticed my pee is like neon yellow, even though I drink a ton of water. Just me or anyone else?
Hey there! The bright yellow pee is definitely the B vitamins, especially riboflavin (B2) – totally harmless, just your body getting rid of the extra. As for dreams, I've seen this mentioned in reviews for other prenatals, too. Some women report vivid dreams, probably due to hormonal changes or increased B6. Just enjoy the show! ;-)
Seconding the B vitamins causing the neon pee. Also, folic acid and B6 can affect dreaming in some people. I'm a med student, and we actually learn about this - it's a known side effect. Nothing dangerous. If it gets too intense or you find it disturbing, you can try taking them in the morning instead of at night.
Haha, I haven't tried these exact ones but I get vivid dreams from any supplement with B6. I just lean into it, makes for some cool photo inspiration honestly. Also, the yellow urine used to freak me out, but now I'm like 'my body is just doing its thing'. Glad you're not worried!
