THREAD: Anyone else taking these prenatal gummies for general health? Not pregnant, just curious!Started by UpliftUrsula

OMG, I just started these last week and I'm already obsessed! The citrus berry flavor is SO good - it's like having a little treat every morning. I'm not pregnant or planning to be, but I've read that prenatal vitamins can be great for hair, skin, and nails because they're packed with nutrients. The DHA for brain health is a huge plus for me too since I'm always trying to stay sharp for work. Has anyone else tried them for non-pregnancy reasons?

Interesting choice, Ursula. I've analyzed the ingredient profile - 600mcg folic acid, 400IU vitamin D, and 200mg DHA per serving. The bioavailability of these forms is decent, though I'd prefer methylfolate over folic acid for better absorption. The sugar content (3g per gummy) gives me pause - that's essentially a candy with vitamins. Have you noticed any digestive issues? Sometimes prenatal formulas can be harsh on the stomach.

Steve makes a valid point about the sugar. As a fitness pro, I'd recommend checking if these fit your macros if you're tracking. That said, I've had several clients use prenatal vitamins during intense training periods for the extra iron and B vitamins. The DHA could potentially help with post-workout inflammation. Olivia - as a fellow gym rat, have you considered these for recovery?

Honestly, I'm skeptical. Why not just get separate, higher-quality supplements? I take my vitamin D3+K2, fish oil, and a B-complex separately so I can control the doses. These gummies seem like marketing hype to me. Plus, 'supports healthy growth' - growth of what exactly? If you're not pregnant, this seems unnecessary. Save your money for quality protein powder instead.

I'm new to all this supplement stuff (more into meditation), but I've been curious about brain health supplements. The DHA for brain development caught my eye. Do you think these could help with focus during meditation? The gummy form seems easier than swallowing pills. Ursula, how many do you take per day? The bottle says 2 gummies, but that seems like a lot of sugar...

Bob - I take just one gummy most days since I'm not pregnant! It's plenty for me. And Olivia, I get what you're saying about separate supplements, but honestly? I was terrible at remembering to take 4 different pills every day. This one gummy is foolproof for me. Steve - no stomach issues at all! They're actually really gentle. Maybe the sugar helps with that? Anyway, I'm loving my shiny hair results already!
