THREAD: Anyone else taking these prenatal gummies? Looking for real experiences!Started by LunarLily

Hi everyone! I'm new to this whole prenatal supplement thing and trying to be more mindful about my health. I saw these OLLY gummies at the store and they look so much more appealing than those giant pills. Has anyone tried them? I'm mostly worried about the taste - I have a sensitive stomach and can't handle anything too artificial or chalky. Also, do they really help with brain development like the label says? I'm trying to meditate more and want to support my mental clarity. Any advice from fellow meditation folks?

OMG LunarLily, I've been taking these for about 3 months now! The citrus berry flavor is actually delicious - it's like eating candy but with vitamins. Not too sweet, not too tart, and no weird aftertaste. The texture is perfect too - not too chewy, not too soft. As a foodie, I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the flavor quality. I can't speak to the brain development claims, but I definitely feel more energetic throughout the day. My only complaint is that 84 count seems to run out faster than I expected - I wish they sold larger bottles!

Interesting discussion! As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors photographing nature, I'm always looking for natural ways to support my health. I'm a bit skeptical about gummy vitamins though - aren't they usually packed with sugar and artificial colors? The OLLY brand seems more transparent than others, but I'd love to hear about the actual ingredients. Are the omega-3s from sustainable sources? I'm all for supporting brain health (helps with focusing on those perfect shots!), but not at the expense of the environment. Has anyone checked the sourcing?

Data-driven perspective here. I've analyzed the nutritional profile of these gummies versus traditional prenatal pills. The DHA/EPA ratio is decent for brain support (though not optimal for biohackers like me who prefer higher doses). The folic acid is in the methylated form which is good for absorption. However, the sugar content per serving is 3g - not terrible but not ideal for metabolic optimization. I've been tracking my biomarkers while taking these and noticed improved sleep scores and slightly better cognitive test results. For the average person, they're probably effective, but serious biohackers might want to supplement with additional nootropics.

Thanks everyone! BerryBen, your review of the taste really helps - I think I'll give them a try. JoyfulJack, I checked the bottle and it says the omega-3 comes from fish oil, but doesn't specify sustainability. Maybe I'll email the company to ask. XenonX, your data is fascinating! Do you think the improved sleep could be from the vitamin D? I've read that deficiency can affect sleep patterns. Maybe I'll start with these and see how my meditation practice feels after a month. Has anyone experienced any side effects?

Just to add - no side effects for me! They're gentle on my stomach which was a huge plus. And LunarLily, if you're worried about the sugar, they do have a sugar-free version but I haven't tried it. The regular ones taste so good I don't mind the little bit of sweetness. JoyfulJack - I appreciate your environmental concerns! Maybe we can start a petition for OLLY to be more transparent about their sourcing. XenonX, would you be willing to share more of your biomarker data? I'm curious about optimal timing for taking these - morning vs evening?
