Gift idea: Daily Energy gummies for my dad - any experience?
Hey all, looking for a health pack for my dad's 70th. He's always complaining about fatigue. Saw these OLLY Extra Strength Daily Energy gummies. Caffeine free, B12, CoQ10... sounds perfect? Any of you tried them? Or should I get him a different set?
I haven't tried those specifically, but I love OLLY gummies! They taste great. My mom takes the regular energy ones and she says they help a bit. For a 70-year-old, maybe check with his doc? But as a gift, it's thoughtful. The berry yuzu flavor is yummy!
CoQ10 is great for heart health, and B12 can boost energy. But honestly, for an aging parent, I'd also consider a multi-vitamin and maybe some omega-3s. You could make a little 'health pack' with different gummies. But these OLLY ones are solid - I take them before workouts (caffeine-free is nice). Just make sure he doesn't take other supplements with B12, can get too much.
Tech guy here, but I've read that CoQ10 absorption is better with fat, so maybe have him take with a meal. Also, check if he's on blood thinners - CoQ10 can interact. Otherwise, these gummies are convenient. I've bought them for my wife, she likes the taste.
