New study on CoQ10 vs. placebo - worth looking into?
Just found this study (PMID: 34567890) claiming CoQ10 is no better than placebo for energy in healthy adults. But OLLY's gummy has CoQ10. Is this legit or biased? seems fishy to me, big pharma maybe?
Bro, I take that OLLY gummy before my morning workout and I feel the difference. Don't trust every study man, they always find something. Maybe the study used synthetic crap.
As a retired nurse, I know studies can be funded by competitors. Look at the authors - if they've taken money from companies selling other supplements, that's a red flag. Also, check the dose. 1000mcg B12 plus CoQ10 in OLLY might work differently.
I agree with Uma. Also, note that the study might have used older adults or people with deficiencies. For us normies, CoQ10 might still help a bit. I trust OLLY's formulation, been taking it for months.
Good points all. I'll dig into the authors. Maybe stick with my OLLY for now, not convinced by one study. Thanks!
