Sugar or nothin'? OLLY gummies got me feelin' guilty

Ok, I'm new to the gummy supplement game because I'm on the go a lot with training. I picked up the OLLY Extra Strength Energy gummies because I needed a B12 boost without the jitters of caffeine. But after my first bottle I checked the label - 2g of sugar per gummy! That's 4g if you take 2 like the directions say. I'm not a saint, but I'm used to pure supplements. Why do they have to candy-fy everything? Is it too much to ask for a pill? Sorry, just venting but also curious if anyone else balks at the sugar?

Oh, I feel you. I'm strict keto and I avoid all gummies like the plague for that reason. But hey, for some people, gummies are the only way they'll remember to take their vitamins. My kids won't touch pills, so they get sugar-free gummies. I think the convenience is worth it, but it's about choosing the right product. OLLY has some sugar-free options? Not sure. Maybe look into the brand 'Smartypants' or something. Or just bite the bullet and take a B12 sublingual. No sugar, better absorption.

Guys, let's be real - gummies are the gateway to better health for a lot of people. Would you rather have them popping sugary cereals or taking a gummy that has 2g of sugar and a ton of good stuff? Plus, OLLY uses real fruit juice for flavor, not like high fructose corn syrup. The sugar is needed for the gummy texture. If you're watching sugar, just factor it in. I always say, supplements are meant to fill gaps, not be your candy dessert. But I do wish they'd make a low-sugar version. Actually, they have a new 'Zero Sugar' line? Not sure if it's for this energy one. Anyway, for me, the benefits outweigh the sugar.

Haha, GummyGuru, you sound like an influencer! But true. I didn't think about the texture. I'll try to factor in the sugar, maybe take one instead of two? But I need the full 1000mcg B12. I guess I could also just switch to a dropper. But I love the taste, honestly. Maybe I'll just use them on heavy training days and use a pill on easier days. Thanks for the perspectives!

You could also pair the gummy with a low-sugar meal. But I get it - a little convenience can go a long way. I just think it's about being mindful. We all have our vices - I still eat 90% dark chocolate because it's low sugar. Ha! Anyway, good discussion.
