THREAD: Anyone else tried these new energy gummies? My experience so far...Started by RhinoRich

Hey everyone, I just had to share my thoughts on these OLLY Extra Strength Daily Energy Gummies! As an early adopter, I'm always on the lookout for the next big thing in supplements. I've been taking these for about two weeks now, and honestly, I'm impressed. The berry yuzu flavor is actually really good - not that artificial taste you get with some gummies. I love that they're caffeine-free since I'm trying to cut back on coffee jitters. The 1000mcg of B12 seems to give me a nice steady energy boost throughout my morning meetings. Has anyone else given these a shot?

RhinoRich - I saw these at the store but the price tag made me hesitate. As a student on a budget, I'm always weighing cost versus benefit. They're like $25 for 60 gummies, right? That's almost 42 cents per gummy! I usually just take a basic B12 supplement that costs way less. Are they really worth the extra money? What does the CoQ10 and goji berry actually do? I'm skeptical about whether these "extra" ingredients make any real difference or if it's just marketing hype.

DynamicDan - I feel you on the price concern! As a weekend warrior who's always trying to balance work, family, and my outdoor adventures, I need something that actually works. I picked these up about a month ago because I was crashing hard on Saturday afternoons during my hikes. The caffeine-free aspect appealed to me since I don't want to be wired when I'm trying to enjoy nature. I've noticed I don't get that 3pm slump as badly, and the energy feels more natural than with caffeine products. They're definitely pricier than my old multivitamin, but for me, the convenience of a gummy (no water needed!) and the steady energy make it worth it.

DynamicDan - To answer your question about the ingredients: CoQ10 is supposed to support cellular energy production (I've seen it in other premium supplements), and goji berry is packed with antioxidants. Whether you notice those specifically is hard to say, but I appreciate the holistic approach. OasisOliver - I'm with you on the convenience factor! I keep mine in my work bag and take them during my morning commute. No more forgetting pills at home. Has anyone tried taking two instead of one? The bottle says "extra strength" but I'm curious if doubling up would be too much or if it's just right for really demanding days.

Thanks for the insights, both of you. OasisOliver, your real-world experience is helpful. Maybe I'll look for a trial size or wait for a sale. RhinoRich - I'd be careful about doubling up without checking with a doctor first. 2000mcg of B12 might be excessive since the daily value is only 2.4mcg for adults (though B12 is water-soluble so excess usually just gets peed out). My main concern is whether these are just another overpriced supplement capitalizing on the gummy trend. Has anyone compared these to other energy gummies on the market?

DynamicDan - Smart thinking on waiting for a sale! I got mine with a 20% off coupon at my local health store. Regarding doubling up: I accidentally took two once (got distracted by my kids) and didn't notice any negative effects, but I wouldn't make it a habit without proper guidance. To your comparison question - I've tried a couple other brands, and these do seem higher quality. The texture is better (not too sticky or hard), and the flavor is more natural. They also don't have that weird aftertaste some supplements have. For me, they've become part of my weekend prep routine - take one with breakfast before heading out on adventures!
