Hey all! My dad's 70th bday is coming up and my best friend just got super into fitness. I want to get them something health-wise, maybe gummy vitamins? I saw OLLY's sleep gummies – they have melatonin, L-theanine, chamomile. Anyone tried these for older folks or super active people? Or should I look at different ones? Thx!

Oh, I love those! I actually give the sleep gummies to my 75-year-old mom – she says they help her fall asleep without that groggy feeling. The blackberry flavor is a hit with her too. For your gym friend, maybe look into their multi-vitamin or energy gummies? But watch the caffeine if they work out late. I'd say the sleep ones are a safe bet for your dad, especially if he has trouble sleeping. Just make sure he doesn't take them with his meds without checking!

I've used those sleep gummies for myself after intense yoga sessions – they really calm my mind. The L-theanine and chamomile are so natural. For your dad, they're great. For your fitness buddy, maybe consider a magnesium gummy? I find it helps with muscle recovery and sleep too. But if you want something specific from OLLY, their 'Active' line might be better. Also, check for sugar content – some gummies have a lot. But overall, these are a solid choice!

Thanks both! I didn't think about the med interaction – good point, Olivia. I'll check with my dad's doc. And I like the magnesium idea, Yara. Maybe I'll get the sleep ones for dad and a separate bottle of magnesium gummies for my friend. Do you have a specific brand you like? Also, do these OLLY ones taste too sweet? My dad isn't a fan of super sugary stuff.

They're sweet but not overpowering – like a real blackberry. My mom loves them. If he prefers less sweet, maybe cut one in half or look at their 'Less Sugar' line? I know they have some options. For magnesium, I like the Natural Vitality CALM gummies – but they're more of a powder. Actually, there are gummies by Life Extension that are good. Just make sure to get one with good absorption, like magnesium glycinate. Good luck!
