Hey everyone, I saw this OLLY sleep gummy at the store and was curious. It has melatonin and all those herbal extracts, but I'm a bit skeptical as a mom. Has anyone tried this for their kids or themselves? I worry about giving supplements to my family without knowing more about the side effects or if it really works. The blackberry flavor sounds tasty though!

FuelFrank33, great question! As a science enthusiast, I've looked into the ingredients. Melatonin at 5 mg is a standard dose for adults, but it's not typically recommended for children without a doctor's advice. L-Theanine and chamomile have some research backing for relaxation, but effects can vary. Personally, I tried it for a week and found it helped me fall asleep faster, but I didn't notice much improvement in sleep quality. Always check with a healthcare provider first, especially for kids.

I'm with FuelFrank33 on being skeptical. I bought these gummies hoping they'd help with my occasional insomnia, but honestly, they didn't do much for me. The taste was okay, but I felt a bit groggy the next morning. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe it's just my body chemistry, but I'm not convinced it's worth the money compared to natural methods like meditation or a warm bath.

PurePete, that's interesting about the grogginess—it could be due to the melatonin dose or individual sensitivity. Studies show melatonin can cause next-day drowsiness in some people. For those considering it, I'd suggest starting with a lower dose or trying it on a weekend first. Also, the combination with L-Theanine might help reduce anxiety, but it's not a magic bullet. Has anyone had positive experiences to share?

Thanks for the insights, KetoKevin38 and PurePete. I think I'll hold off on buying these for now and maybe ask my doctor. It's reassuring to hear real experiences instead of just marketing claims. If anyone has tips for natural sleep aids that are kid-friendly, I'd love to hear them! This forum is so helpful for us skeptical moms.
