THREAD: Just tried these new sleep gummies - anyone else have experience with the melatonin blend?Started by VibeVitamins

Hey everyone, I've been testing these OLLY sleep gummies for the past two weeks as part of my supplement rotation. As a fitness pro, I'm always looking for quality sleep aids to support recovery. The 5mg melatonin dose is solid, and I appreciate the addition of L-Theanine and botanicals like chamomile. Has anyone else noticed how quickly they seem to work? I'm usually out within 30 minutes of taking one.

I'm a bit skeptical about these - as someone who spends a lot of time in nature photographing wildlife, I prefer more natural approaches to sleep. Do we really need all these extracts combined? I've had success with just chamomile tea before bed. Also, the blackberry flavoring makes me wonder about artificial additives. Has anyone checked the ingredient list thoroughly?

Jack raises a good point about natural approaches! I'm also a fitness pro, and I've been using these gummies for about a month now. What I like is that they don't leave me groggy in the morning like some other sleep aids. The combination seems to work synergistically - the melatonin helps with sleep onset, while the L-Theanine and botanicals promote relaxation without sedation. For those who exercise intensely, quality sleep is crucial for muscle repair.

Okay, I have to chime in here because I'm all about the taste experience! The blackberry flavor is actually really good - not too sweet or artificial tasting. It's like a little treat before bed. But I'm curious about the texture - does anyone else find them a bit chewier than regular gummies? Also, has anyone tried taking half a dose? 5mg melatonin seems like a lot for someone new to sleep supplements.

Great points everyone! Jack - I checked the ingredients and they use natural flavors and colors, which is a plus. Ben - you're right about the texture, they are definitely chewier than typical gummy vitamins. For beginners, I'd recommend starting with half a gummy (just bite it in half) to see how you react to 2.5mg melatonin. Wendy's right about the lack of morning grogginess - that's been my experience too. Anyone have thoughts on whether these are worth the price compared to other sleep aids?
