THREAD: Tried the OLLY Sleep Gummies - Are they worth the hype?Started by FitnessFanatic

Hey everyone, I've been struggling with sleep lately due to my hectic work schedule. I saw these OLLY gummies at the store and picked them up. The 5mg melatonin caught my eye, plus the L-Theanine and chamomile sounded promising. Has anyone else tried these? I'm curious if they actually help you fall asleep faster or if it's just placebo. The blackberry flavor is decent, but I'm more concerned about effectiveness.

As a marathon runner, recovery sleep is crucial for me. I've been using these gummies for about two weeks now. They definitely help me wind down after evening training sessions. I take one about 30 minutes before bed and notice I fall asleep quicker. The lemon balm extract seems to add a calming effect. My only concern is whether 5mg melatonin is too much for long-term use - I might try cutting them in half. Anyone have thoughts on melatonin dosage?

I'm with CrystalCathy on this - sleep is everything for recovery. I tried these last month during my peak training week. They worked well the first few nights, but I built up tolerance quickly. By day 5, I needed two gummies to feel the same effect. The ingredients are good quality, but at this price point ($20+ per bottle), I'm not sure it's sustainable. Has anyone experienced tolerance issues? Maybe cycling on and off would help.

I'm new to meditation and sleep aids, so I approached these cautiously. The natural ingredients appealed to me (chamomile, lemon balm) over synthetic sleep pills. I've been taking half a gummy (about 2.5mg melatonin) for a week. They help quiet my racing mind during evening meditation sessions. The blackberry flavor is nice, not too sweet. For beginners like me, I'd recommend starting with a lower dose. Does anyone know if the L-Theanine actually reduces anxiety or is it just marketing?

As a nature photographer with irregular sleep patterns from early morning shoots, I've tried these. They work okay, but I prefer more natural methods like valerian root tea. The gummies are convenient for travel though. My main issue is the 120 count bottle - that's a 4-month supply at recommended dosage. Do they maintain potency that long once opened? I'd hate to waste them if they lose effectiveness. Also, has anyone checked if these are vegan? The gelatin might be an issue for some.
