Are these gummies just candy in disguise?

I get the convienence, but 2g of added sugar per gummy? For kids? That's basically candy. We're teaching them that supplements = treats. There's no regulation on these 'functional' candies. Stick to a balanced diet and a plain multivitamin if needed.

Oh come on, my kid would never take a pill. These gummies are a lifesaver. 2g is nothing compared to the sugar in a juice box. Plus, they have probiotics. It's not like we're giving them a whole bag. Everything in moderation.

I remember when vitamins came in a bottle, you took one with water, and that was it. Now it's all about gummy bears and cartoon characters. Seems like a marketing gimmick to me. Real food is best, not processed gummies.

My granddaughter loves these, and her mom swears by 'em. She used to be picky, but now she gets her vitamins without a fight. I worry about the sugar, but her pediatrician said it's fine. Are there any sugar-free options?

There are sugar-free gummies, but they use sugar alcohols which can cause digestive issues. Honestly, the best bet is a chewable tablet with no sugar. Or just make sure the kid eats whole fruits and veggies. The convenience isn't worth the added sugar and artificial ingredients.
