OLLY gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?
So I was at Costco today and saw these OLLY Kids Multivitamin & Probiotic gummies, 70 count, for like $12.99! That's almost half the price I normally pay at Target. I grabbed a couple bottles, but now I'm second-guessing - does a lower price mean they're not as good? Maybe they're old or something. Anyone else seen this deal? Is it a steal or a red flag?
Hey, I've been buying those for my kids for a while. Costco often gets bulk deals, so they can afford to sell them cheaper. I haven't noticed any quality difference. Just check the expiration date - if it's far out, you're good. Those gummies are pretty clean, but I still give my kids a separate probiotic since I'm strict about keto and watch sugar even for them. But, yeah, grab them while you can.
I get the skepticism. When something is deeply discounted, I worry about it being counterfeit or stored improperly. But Costco is legit. I've seen OLLY at my local pharmacy too, not always on sale. I think it's just a volume thing. We've used these for my picky eater - they actually help with digestion (she has occasional tummy issues). The berry flavor masks the vitamin taste well. I'd say it's a steal, but maybe check the seal and batch number on the package to be sure. :D
I love OLLY gummies! I take the adult ones, but I've tried these kids' ones - they're tasty. Price doesn't equal quality, especially at big stores. They rotate stock so you're probably getting fresh stuff. Also, the probiotic in them is a nice bonus for kids. I'd say stock up. Just remember, they're supplements, not candy - keep them out of reach of little ones. We all know how much kids love these!
If you're worried, I think you're fine. I'm a broke college student and always hunt for deals. I've bought supplements from discount stores and they work the same. At Costco, they have so much buying power they can lower prices. I don't see why they'd risk their reputation selling subpar goods. Plus, if it's from a reputable brand and the packaging looks untouched, it's likely a win. :)
