THREAD: Anyone tried OLLY Kids Multivitamin Gummies? My picky eater won't touch regular vitamins!Started by FuelFrank

Hey folks, I'm usually all about tech gadgets, but my 6-year-old is the ultimate picky eater. Saw these OLLY gummies at Target and grabbed them on impulse. The berry flavor is actually pretty decent - not too artificial tasting. My kid actually asks for them, which is a miracle. Anyone else using these for their little ones? Wondering if the probiotic part actually does anything or if it's just marketing.

Frank, I've analyzed the ingredient profile. The vitamin blend is solid - A, D, C, E, and B-complex are all there in decent amounts for kids. The probiotic strain is Bacillus coagulans, which is shelf-stable and survives stomach acid better than some others. What I don't love is the 2g of added sugar per serving. That's not terrible, but for daily use, I'd prefer less. Have you noticed any digestive changes in your kid since starting?

Student here trying to survive on ramen budget. My little sister needs vitamins but my parents can't afford the fancy stuff. These are like $15 for 70 gummies - that's actually not bad compared to other brands I've seen. Steve, is the probiotic worth the extra cost? Could I just get regular multivitamin gummies cheaper?

Dan, as a parent, I'll say the convenience factor is huge. If she'll actually take them consistently, that's worth something. My kid has been more regular, if you know what I mean. Less complaining about tummy aches. Steve, the sugar thing worries me too - it's why I only give one instead of the recommended two. Anyone know if there's a sugar-free version?

Dan, to answer your question - the probiotic adds maybe $2-3 to the cost. Regular kids multis run $10-12. For that difference, I'd say it's worth it IF digestive support is needed. The strains in here can help with occasional constipation and nutrient absorption. Frank, no sugar-free version that I've seen, but you could try cutting back to every other day. The vitamins are fat-soluble, so they'll store in the body.

Thanks both! Might grab these for my sister's birthday. She loves anything berry flavored. Last question - the bottle says '35 day supply' but it's 70 count. That's 2 per day, right? Could she just take one and make it last 70 days? Trying to stretch every dollar here.
