THREAD: Anyone tried these OLLY Kids gummies for themselves? Looking for honest reviews!Started by EarthElias

Hey everyone! As a marathon runner, I'm always looking for ways to boost my immune system and gut health, especially during intense training cycles. I saw these OLLY Kids gummies at the store and was curious if they'd work for adults too. The vitamin blend looks solid - A, D, C, E, B vitamins plus zinc. Has anyone here tried taking these themselves? I'm wondering about the dosage and if the probiotic content is sufficient for digestive support. Also, are they actually tasty or just another chalky supplement?

Great question, EarthElias! As a nature photographer who spends long days outdoors, I've been using these for about 3 weeks now. I originally bought them for my niece but ended up trying them myself when I caught a cold. The berry flavor is surprisingly good - not too sweet or artificial tasting. I've noticed fewer digestive issues when I'm out in the field all day, which is huge for me. My only concern is the sugar content - they do have some added sugars. For adults, you might need to take 2 instead of 1 to match adult supplement doses, but check with your doctor first!

Oh man, this takes me back! I remember when supplements were just nasty pills you had to choke down. These gummies remind me of the Flintstones vitamins I had as a kid (anyone else nostalgic for those?). I've been blogging about old-school vs new-school health products, and I'm skeptical about gummy supplements. Don't they tend to have lower nutrient absorption? And what about the probiotic stability - aren't probiotics sensitive to heat and moisture? I'd love to hear from someone who's done a proper 30-day trial with these.

As someone new to meditation and wellness routines, I find all this supplement talk overwhelming! I bought these OLLY gummies because they seemed simple and approachable. I've been taking them for 2 weeks while establishing my morning meditation practice. They're definitely easier to remember than pills! I haven't noticed huge changes yet, but my digestion does feel a bit smoother. My question: should I be taking these with food or on an empty stomach? And is there an optimal time of day for absorption? Sorry if these are basic questions - I'm still learning!

Thanks for the insights everyone! JoyfulJack - good point about the dosage. I'll check with my nutritionist. SolarSam - you raise valid concerns about absorption. I did some quick research and it seems gummy vitamins can have bioavailability issues, but the probiotic strain in these (Bacillus coagulans) is supposedly shelf-stable. LunarLily - from what I've read, fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E) are best taken with food containing some fat. Maybe take them with your morning snack? Anyone else have experience with long-term use?

To answer SolarSam's question about long-term use - I'm approaching the 35-day mark (almost finished my first bottle). I've kept a simple journal: fewer seasonal allergy symptoms, more consistent energy levels during long photo shoots, and definitely improved digestion. The probiotic seems to be working well for me. LunarLily, I take mine with breakfast as JoyfulJack suggested. EarthElias, let us know what your nutritionist says! For the price point ($15-20 per bottle), I think they're worth it as a maintenance supplement, but maybe not for addressing specific deficiencies.
