Is this zinc study legit or just another hit piece?

Hey all, I just came across this study (PMID: 34567890) claiming that high-dose zinc can mess with copper absorption and cause issues. I take OLLY Men's Multivitamin Gummy which has zinc, and now I'm worried. The source seems kinda... alarmist? What do you guys think? Is it legit or biased?

Oh great, another 'zinc is bad' article funded by Big Pharma. I've been vegan for years and zinc is crucial. The OLLY gummies have a reasonable dose (like 10mg?), which is fine unless you're megadosing. Check the actual study details - often they use unrealistic amounts. Don't let fear-mongering get to you.

I'm with HealthHacker here. I've been using OLLY for months and my blood work is fine. The study might be legit for like 50mg+ but the gummies have standard amounts. Plus, they have copper in them too? I think that balances it. But I'm no doctor, just a busy dude who reads labels.

Working nights messes with my sleep and diet, so I rely on these gummies. I looked up that study - it's from a reputable journal but the effect size was small. The OLLY formula includes vitamin C and A which help absorption. I'd say it's fine. Maybe ask your doc if you're paranoid, but I'm not switching.
