THREAD: Looking for gummy vitamin gift ideas - parent or fitness friend?Started by IndigoIris540

Hey everyone! I'm trying to put together a little health pack as a gift - either for my dad who's getting up there in years, or my buddy who's super into fitness. I saw this OLLY Men's Multivitamin Gummy with all the vitamins and zinc, blackberry flavor. Has anyone tried these? Are they good for older folks or more for active people? I like that they're gummies since pills can be hard to swallow sometimes.

omg i feel you on the budget thing! i got my mom some gummy vitamins last year and she loved them. the OLLY ones are kinda pricey tho - like $20 for 90 count? but if it's a gift maybe worth it. my tip: check if they have sales at target or cvs, i always use coupons. for aging parents, maybe look for ones with extra vitamin D and calcium? not sure if these have that.

Interesting question! The OLLY Men's Multivitamin contains vitamins A, C, D, E, B-complex, and zinc. For aging adults, vitamin D and B12 are often recommended for bone health and energy - this has both. For fitness enthusiasts, zinc supports immune function and protein synthesis. However, note that gummies sometimes have added sugars. The blackberry flavor likely uses natural flavors, but check the label for sugar content if that's a concern for your friend.

Thanks both! FloraFinn - good call on the coupons, I'll keep an eye out. NatureNancy - that's super helpful, I didn't think about the sugar thing. My dad has borderline diabetes so maybe I should check that. My fitness friend is pretty strict about his diet too. Maybe I'll get these for my dad if the sugar is low, and look for something else for my friend. Anyone know if these taste good at least?

lol i havent tried the blackberry but my mom's were citrus and she said they tasted like candy! she actually looked forward to taking them which is a win. maybe you could make a cute DIY health basket with the vitamins, some tea, and a nice water bottle? that's what i did and it was cheap but looked thoughtful. just an idea!
