Just tried the OLLY Sleep Gummies - anyone else have thoughts on these?
Hey everyone! I've been using these OLLY Sleep Gummies for about two weeks now and I'm absolutely loving them! The 3 mg melatonin combined with L-Theanine and the herbal extracts really helps me wind down naturally. The blackberry flavor is delicious - no weird aftertaste like some other supplements. I've noticed I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more refreshed. Has anyone else experienced similar results? Also, does anyone know if they're vegan-friendly? I couldn't find that info on the packaging.
Interesting! I actually bought these last month but had mixed results. The flavor is great - I might even try to incorporate blackberry into some of my dessert recipes. However, I found the 3 mg melatonin a bit strong for me. I woke up feeling groggy the next morning. Has anyone tried cutting the gummy in half? Also, I'm curious about the chamomile and lemon balm extracts - do they actually contribute to the sleep effect or are they just for marketing?
I haven't tried these yet, but I'm concerned about the packaging. Does anyone know if the container is recyclable? I checked their website but couldn't find clear information about their sustainability practices. Also, are the ingredients ethically sourced? I'm all for natural sleep aids, but not at the expense of the environment. If anyone has details on this, I'd appreciate it!
As a broke college student, my main question is: are these actually worth the price? I saw them at the store for $15-20 depending on where you shop. That seems steep for 60 gummies. I've been using generic melatonin tablets that cost about $5 for a month's supply. Is the combination of ingredients in the OLLY gummies really that much better? Also, how long does one bottle actually last if you take them every night?
Great questions everyone! @SupplementSteve43 - I haven't tried cutting them, but that's a good idea if the melatonin is too strong. The chamomile and lemon balm are actually well-researched for relaxation, so they're not just filler! @PeakPaula - I believe the container is #5 plastic which some municipalities recycle, but I'll check the label when I get home. @DynamicDan - I think they're worth it for the quality, but you could try buying from Costco or online for better deals. The bottle lasts exactly 30 days if you take two gummies nightly as directed.
Thanks @GummyGuru123! I might give them another try at half dose. For @DynamicDan - if budget is tight, you could make your own sleep aid with chamomile tea and a melatonin tablet. Not as convenient as a gummy, but much cheaper! Has anyone compared these to other sleep gummies on the market? I've tried Nature Made and they were okay, but the texture wasn't as good.
