Found OLLY Sleep Gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?
Hey everyone, just spotted the OLLY Sleep Gummies (the 3mg melatonin ones with L-Theanine and herbs) at Costco for like $15 for the 90-count pack. Normally I see them for $25+ elsewhere. Has anyone tried these from Costco specifically? Worried the lower price means they're using cheaper ingredients or something. Or is this just a legit steal?
lol i feel you OP, i'm always skeptical about sales too but i've grabbed these at target on sale before and they worked fine for me. i'm a caffeine addict so my sleep schedule is a mess, but these actually help me wind down without feeling groggy. maybe costco just gets bulk discounts? i'd say go for it if you need a sleep aid that doesn't knock you out too hard.
From an eco perspective, OLLY's packaging isn't the most sustainable (plastic bottle), but if Costco's selling them cheaper, it might reduce waste from multiple trips to smaller stores. Quality-wise, I doubt they'd alter the formula for one retailer—probably just volume pricing. Check the label to ensure ingredients match, but it's likely the same product.
As a yoga instructor, I value natural sleep aids! I've used these gummies from my local pharmacy, and the chamomile/lemon balm blend is soothing. Sales often happen with overstock or promotions—not necessarily lower quality. If the ingredients list is identical, it's probably a great deal. Maybe pair with evening meditation for best results :)
Granola parent here—my teens sometimes use these for occasional sleeplessness. We've bought them at Target and our pharmacy, and I've never noticed a difference in quality based on price. Costco might just have better margins. Just double-check the expiration date and ingredient sourcing if you're concerned, but in my experience, it's a steal for a reliable product.
