THREAD: Just tried these new sleep gummies - anyone else have experience with them?Started by SupplementSteve43

Hey everyone, I picked up these OLLY Sleep Gummies at the store yesterday. As someone who loves experimenting in the kitchen, I'm curious about the ingredient combo - melatonin, L-theanine, chamomile, and lemon balm. Has anyone tried these before? I'm wondering if they actually taste like blackberry or if it's just artificial flavoring. Also, does the 3mg melatonin hit hard or is it subtle? I usually make my own herbal teas for sleep, but these gummies seem convenient for nights when I'm too tired to brew anything.

OMG, I've been using these for about two weeks now and they're amazing! The blackberry flavor is actually really natural-tasting - not too sweet or artificial. I take one about 30 minutes before bed and I'm out like a light. The L-theanine really helps calm my racing thoughts (I'm a chronic overthinker), and the chamomile/lemon balm combo feels so gentle. For anyone skeptical about melatonin supplements, this feels much more balanced than those high-dose pills. My sleep quality has improved dramatically - waking up feeling refreshed instead of groggy!

Interesting. As someone who's pretty serious about Crossfit and recovery, I'm always looking at sleep aids. But 3mg melatonin seems low - I usually take 5-10mg after heavy training days. Does this actually work for muscle recovery? Also, what's the carb/sugar content per gummy? Trying to keep my nutrition tight. Ursula - you mention waking up refreshed - any morning grogginess at all? Sometimes melatonin gives me that hungover feeling.

Weekend warrior here - I grabbed these because I have trouble shutting my brain off after work. Tried them last night and honestly... mixed feelings. They taste great (props on the blackberry flavor), but I didn't feel that 'sleepy' effect everyone talks about. Maybe I need to take them earlier? Or maybe my stress levels are just too high from my desk job. Steve - if you make your own teas, what herbs do you usually combine? Maybe I need something stronger for my situation.

Noah - great questions! The bottle says 2g sugar per gummy, which isn't bad considering they taste sweet. And zero morning grogginess for me - I think the lower melatonin dose combined with L-theanine prevents that. Oliver - try taking them a full hour before bed, and make sure you're not looking at screens afterward. The effects are subtle but cumulative - it took me about 5 days to really notice consistent results. Also, maybe try two gummies? The bottle says 1-2 as needed.

Oliver - for my homemade sleep blends, I usually do valerian root, passionflower, and a little lavender. Sometimes magnolia bark if I'm really wound up. But honestly, after Ursula's review, I'm going to give these gummies a proper try. The convenience factor is huge - no boiling water, no straining herbs. Noah, I checked the label - it's 15 calories and 3g carbs per gummy (2g sugar, 1g fiber). Not terrible for an occasional sleep aid. I'll report back after a week of testing!
