THREAD: Just tried the OLLY Sleep Gummies - anyone else have experience with them?Started by RhinoRich

Hey everyone, I just picked up a bottle of these OLLY Sleep Gummies from my local health store. As an early adopter, I'm always on the lookout for new supplements that might give me an edge. The combination of 3mg melatonin, L-Theanine, and herbal ingredients like chamomile and lemon balm caught my eye. Has anyone else tried these? I'm curious about how effective they are compared to other sleep aids on the market.

Hi RhinoRich! I've been using these gummies for about two weeks now. As a yoga instructor, I'm very mindful about what I put into my body, and I appreciate that these are made with natural ingredients. The blackberry flavor is actually quite pleasant, not too sweet. I take one about 30 minutes before bed, and I've noticed I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more refreshed. My only concern is the melatonin dosage - 3mg might be a bit high for some people. Have you experienced any grogginess in the morning?

Crossfit junkie here - I'm always pushing my limits, so good sleep is crucial for recovery. I tried these gummies last month. Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. They taste great, but I didn't notice any significant improvement in my sleep quality compared to my usual routine of magnesium and meditation. Plus, at this price point for 90 count, I'm wondering if they're actually worth it. Has anyone done a cost comparison with other sleep supplements?

Thanks for the feedback, both! Claire, I haven't experienced morning grogginess yet, but I've only used them for three nights. Noah, I hear you on the price - they're definitely not the cheapest option out there. But for me, the convenience of a gummy versus pills or powders is a big plus. I travel frequently for work, and these are easy to pack. Has anyone tried cutting the gummies in half to adjust the melatonin dosage? Or is that not recommended with the way they're formulated?

Noah, I understand your skepticism. For me, the combination of ingredients seems to work synergistically - the L-Theanine helps with relaxation without making me drowsy during the day. As for cutting them, I wouldn't recommend it since the ingredients might not be evenly distributed. Maybe start with just half a gummy if you're sensitive to melatonin? RhinoRich, how do you find the taste compared to other supplement gummies you've tried?

Good point about not cutting them, Claire. I might give them another shot and pay closer attention to my sleep metrics. RhinoRich, the taste is definitely superior to most supplement gummies I've tried - no weird aftertaste. But for my Crossfit recovery, I'm still not convinced they beat my current stack. Has anyone noticed any interactions with other supplements or medications? Always good to be cautious with these things.
