THREAD: OLLY Undeniable Beauty Gummies - Has anyone seen real results for hair and nails?Started by LunarLily

Hey everyone! I've been seeing ads for these OLLY beauty gummies everywhere and I'm really curious. As someone just starting out with self-care routines (I'm trying to meditate more!), I'm wondering if these could help with my brittle nails. They always seem to break when I'm trying to relax and do my nail care. Has anyone actually tried these? Do they taste good? I'm a bit worried about the grapefruit flavor since I'm not a huge fan of bitter things. Would love to hear your experiences!

Welcome to the self-care journey, LunarLily! As a yoga instructor, I always emphasize nourishing from the inside out. I've been taking these OLLY gummies for about 2 months now. The grapefruit flavor is actually quite pleasant - not bitter at all, more like a sweet citrus candy. I've noticed my hair seems shinier and grows a bit faster, which is great since I'm constantly putting it up for classes. The biotin and keratin combo makes sense for that. However, remember supplements work best alongside a balanced diet and proper hydration - no gummy can replace eating your veggies! What's your current routine like?

I'm a mom of three teenagers and frankly, I'm skeptical about all these 'beauty' supplements. The packaging is cute and all, but at nearly $20 for a 30-day supply, I need to know this actually works before spending grocery money on it. My daughter keeps begging me to buy these because her friends use them, but I've read that most biotin just gets peed out if you're already getting enough in your diet. Has anyone done the full 30 days and seen noticeable differences in their skin? Or is this just another expensive placebo?

Thanks for the input, MindfulMila! My routine is pretty basic right now - just trying to drink more water and remember to take my vitamins. Vince, I totally get your skepticism! That's why I'm asking here before buying. Maybe we need more long-term reviews? MindfulMila, you mentioned 2 months - did you see any changes in the first month, or did it take longer? Also, has anyone experienced any side effects? I read somewhere that too much biotin can cause breakouts.

Great questions! Vince, I appreciate your practical approach - as a mom, you're right to be cautious with spending. I did notice subtle changes around week 3-4: less hair shedding in the shower and my nails felt stronger. But the most noticeable difference came after 6-8 weeks. As for side effects, I haven't experienced any breakouts, but everyone's body chemistry is different. LunarLily, if you're concerned, maybe start with half a gummy daily? And Vince - if your daughter is eating a typical teen diet (lots of processed foods), she might actually benefit from the supplement. Maybe compromise with a one-month trial?

Hmm, MindfulMila makes a fair point about teen diets... My daughter does live on pizza and soda when I'm not watching. Maybe a one-month trial wouldn't hurt if it gets her thinking about nutrition. But I'm still concerned about the vitamin C content - grapefruit can interfere with medications. Has anyone checked with their doctor about these? I'm going to ask our pediatrician at my son's appointment next week. LunarLily, if you do try them, maybe keep a simple journal to track any changes? Photos of your nails weekly might help you see if there's real progress.
