Hey all! I'm heading on a 3-week trip with a mix of flights and hiking. I just bought a 130-count bottle of OLLY Women's Multivitamin Gummies. Anyone know if these melt in hot car or backpack? Also, TSA rules for gummy vitamins in carry-on vs checked? And any storage tips for keeping them fresh on the trail?

I've taken these on flights before. TSA doesn't care about gummies – they're not liquids. I keep them in my carry-on in the original bottle. As for melting, I live in FL and they've gotten a bit soft in my gym bag but never fully melted. If you're worried, toss the bottle in a cooler or put it in your checked luggage where it's cooler. On hikes, just keep them in a shaded pocket.

Yeah, I second that. The bottle is pretty bulky for hiking though. I'd decant some into a zip bag or a small pill container for the trail. They can get a little sticky if it's hot, but they still taste fine. Also, if you're worried about melting, leave them in a hotel fridge overnight – they firm right back up.

Keto here – these gummies have sugar so I don't take them, but I travel with my keto gummies all the time. Pro tip: don't leave them in a hot car. I did that once and they turned into a blob. For TSA, gummies are solid so no issue. I put mine in a clear bag with other liquids just to be safe but it's not required.

I take these on weekend backpacking trips. I just put a week's worth in a small Nalgene bottle or a silicone travel tube. They've never melted on me even when it's 90°F. Just don't squeeze the bottle too hard or they'll smear. And for TSA, I've had them in my personal item no problem. Enjoy your trip!
