THREAD: Anyone else tried these OLLY women's gummy vitamins? Berry flavor review & results!Started by DynamicDan31

Hey everyone! I just picked up these OLLY women's gummy vitamins from the store on a whim because the packaging looked fun and I'm always looking for tasty supplements. The berry flavor is actually pretty decent - not too artificial tasting, and they have a nice chewy texture. Has anyone else tried these? I'm curious if they actually work or if it's just a tasty placebo. I've been taking them for about a week now and haven't noticed much difference, but maybe it's too soon?

I'm always skeptical about gummy vitamins - they're usually loaded with sugar and artificial ingredients. I checked the label on these OLLY ones and they do have some added sugar, which concerns me as a parent trying to keep my family's diet clean. The ingredient list looks better than some other brands though. Has anyone looked into the sourcing of their vitamins? I'm particularly interested in whether the biotin and folic acid are from natural sources. My daughter (teenager) has been asking about gummy vitamins, but I want to make sure they're actually beneficial, not just candy in disguise.

As someone who's constantly juggling work, gym sessions, and meal prep, I appreciate the convenience of these! I've been using them for about 3 weeks now. The 65-day supply is perfect for my busy schedule - I just grab two in the morning with my coffee. I've noticed slightly more energy throughout the day, but that could be placebo effect. My main question: has anyone experienced any digestive issues? I've had some mild stomach discomfort on days when I take them on an empty stomach. Also, are they worth the price compared to traditional pill vitamins?

OrganicOlivia - I totally get your concern about sugar! I checked and they have 2g of added sugar per serving (2 gummies). Not terrible compared to some candy-like vitamins I've seen. The berry flavor does taste natural-ish to me, but I'm no expert. FitnessFanatic45 - I take mine with breakfast and haven't had stomach issues. Maybe try taking them with food? As for results, I'm now on day 14 and I think my nails might be growing slightly faster? Could be my imagination though. Has anyone actually done bloodwork before/after to see real vitamin level changes?

Thanks for the sugar info, DynamicDan31! 2g isn't horrible, but I'd still prefer none. FitnessFanatic45 - I agree about taking them with food, that usually helps with absorption anyway. I did some digging and OLLY seems to use mostly synthetic vitamins (which is standard for gummies), but they claim to be transparent about sourcing. I'm considering trying them for myself first before letting my daughter have them. Has anyone with specific dietary needs (vegetarian/vegan) checked if these are suitable? The gelatin would be my main concern.

Great points everyone! I started taking mine with my morning oatmeal based on your suggestions and no more stomach issues - thanks! Regarding value: I paid $14.99 for the 130-count, which comes to about 23 cents per day. Cheaper than my daily coffee! For me, the convenience factor makes it worth it even if the benefits are modest. OrganicOlivia - I believe they contain gelatin, so not vegetarian-friendly. DynamicDan31 - No bloodwork here, but my annual physical is in 2 months, so I'll have some comparison data then. Overall, I'd give these a 7/10 - good for busy people who hate swallowing pills!
