THREAD: Has anyone tried these turmeric gummies for joint pain? Peach flavor sounds interesting!Started by SupplementSteve43

Hey everyone, amateur chef here who spends way too much time on my feet in the kitchen! I've been dealing with some nagging joint stiffness in my wrists and knees lately, probably from all the chopping and standing. Saw these turmeric curcumin gummies with ginger at the health store - the peach flavor caught my eye since most turmeric supplements taste like dirt. Has anyone actually tried these? Do they help with inflammation? I'm curious if the 'ultra high absorption' claim is legit or just marketing fluff.

Oh I've been using these for about 2 months now! As a holistic healer, I always prefer natural supplements over pharmaceuticals. The ginger addition is brilliant - it synergizes so well with turmeric for digestive support too. I take two gummies daily with my morning smoothie. My arthritis flare-ups have decreased noticeably, and I love that they're non-GMO and gluten-free. The peach flavor is actually pleasant - not too sweet, just a hint of natural fruitiness. My only concern is the plastic bottle - wish they used glass for sustainability.

Fellow amateur chef here! Steve, I feel your pain - my shoulders are killing me after weekend meal prep marathons. I started these gummies 3 weeks ago after listening to a podcast about turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties. The convenience factor is huge - no more messy powders or capsules that get stuck in my throat. I haven't noticed dramatic changes yet, but my morning stiffness seems slightly better. Question for Ellen: Do you take them with food? I've been having them on an empty stomach before my morning coffee.

Skeptical mom here. I've seen so many 'miracle' supplements come and go. What's the actual curcumin content per serving? The bottle says 'extra strength' but doesn't list specific milligrams. And 'ultra high absorption' - what does that even mean? Are there any studies backing these specific gummies? I tried a different turmeric supplement last year for my knee pain and it did absolutely nothing except turn my pee bright yellow. These are pretty expensive too - $35 for 120 count. Are they actually worth it?

HubermanHopeful - Definitely take them with food! Turmeric is fat-soluble, so having them with your smoothie (assuming there's some healthy fat in there) or a meal improves absorption. HealthHacker - Valid questions! I checked the supplement facts: 500mg turmeric root extract and 50mg ginger root per serving (2 gummies). The 'high absorption' likely refers to added black pepper extract (piperine) which isn't listed on the front but is in the ingredients. Still, you're right to be cautious - everyone's biochemistry is different. Maybe try a smaller bottle first?

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Ellen, good tip about taking with food - I'll try them with my avocado toast. HealthHacker, I hear you on the skepticism. I decided to give them a shot since the return policy at my store is decent. I'll report back in a couple weeks. If they help me get through my Sunday meal prep without groaning every time I bend down to get pans from the lower cabinets, they'll be worth every penny. Plus, peach flavor beats choking down capsules any day!
