THREAD: Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies - Healthy or Just Candy in Disguise?Started by KetoKevin

Seriously, what's the point of ACV gummies? I just checked the label on a popular brand and it has 3g of sugar per serving! That's basically candy with a health claim. If you're trying to get the benefits of apple cider vinegar, just drink the real stuff diluted in water. This 'candy-fication' of supplements is getting ridiculous - we're turning health products into junk food.

Kevin, I hear your concern about purity, but there's more to consider here. Many people (including myself) find liquid ACV too harsh on the throat and teeth. The gummy form makes it accessible. Yes, some brands add sugar, but there are clean options with stevia or monk fruit. The convenience means people actually take them consistently, which is half the battle with supplements!

lol KetoKevin going hard as usual! But tbh I'm with GummyGuru on this one. I tried the liquid ACV for a week and nearly gagged every morning. Switched to gummies and actually remember to take them. I'm not perfect with my diet (weekend beers anyone?), but at least I'm getting some ACV benefits. Maybe not optimal, but better than nothing?

Oliver, 'better than nothing' is how we ended up with a supplement industry pushing sugary gummies to begin with! If you can't handle the taste, maybe your body doesn't actually need it? Real ACV has the 'mother' and probiotics that often get processed out in gummies. You're paying premium prices for candy with minimal benefits. Just my 2 cents as someone who travels with real supplements.

Both perspectives have merit! Kevin's right about checking for the 'mother' and avoiding unnecessary sugars. Oliver's right about consistency being key. My advice: if you choose gummies, look for organic, low-sugar options with clear labeling. And maybe rotate with liquid sometimes? Health isn't all-or-nothing - it's about finding what works sustainably for YOUR lifestyle.
