THREAD: Traveling with Ashwagandha Gummies - Do They Melt? TSA Tips?Started by DewyDaphne

Hey everyone! I'm about to take a red-eye flight for work and then have a weekend road trip planned. I rely on my ashwagandha gummies to help me wind down after night shifts and manage stress while traveling. But I'm worried - do these things melt in heat? Like in a hot car during a road trip or in checked luggage? Also, what's the deal with TSA - can I bring them in my carry-on? Any storage tips would be awesome!

Great question DewyDaphne! As someone who's traveled with every gummy supplement imaginable, here's my take: Most quality ashwagandha gummies have a decent melting point, but they CAN get sticky in extreme heat. I once left some in my car during a summer hike and they turned into a gooey mess! For air travel, TSA is totally fine with them in carry-on - just keep them in original packaging if possible. Pro tip: Use a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack for road trips, and never check them in luggage since cargo holds can get super hot!

Namaste! I bring my ashwagandha gummies on all my yoga retreat travels. I've found that keeping them in a cool, dark place is key for maintaining potency. For flights, I put them in my carry-on toiletry bag - never had TSA issues. During hiking trips, I use a small thermos to keep them temperature-stable. Remember friends, intention matters too - set your travel intention for calmness whether you have the gummies accessible or not! ✨

Weekend warrior here! Can confirm what GummyGuru said about heat being the enemy. Lost a whole bottle during a desert camping trip last summer - total meltdown! Now I always: 1) Use original container for TSA, 2) Keep in cooler for road trips, 3) Never leave in direct sun. Bonus tip: If they do get slightly soft, pop them in a hotel fridge for 20 mins and they'll firm right up. Safe travels!
