Hey everyone! So I'm training for my next marathon and trying to keep my skin and hair healthy with these collagen beauty gummies. My 4-year-old daughter saw the bottle and thought it was candy! She grabbed a handful before I could stop her. Thankfully they're safe for kids in small amounts, but now she keeps asking for 'mommy's special candy' every day. Anyone else deal with this? I'm worried she'll get into them when I'm not looking!

LOL Cathy, I feel you! On night shifts, I keep my vitamin gummies on the nightstand. My wife thought they were my 'secret candy stash' and ate half the bottle once! She said they tasted better than regular candy. Now I have to hide them in my work bag. Maybe try putting them in a childproof container or high shelf? Kids are too smart these days!

Oh dear! This is why I'm mindful about where I store my supplements. My yoga students sometimes bring their kids, and little ones are naturally curious. Have you tried explaining to your daughter that they're 'grown-up vitamins'? Sometimes a simple, calm explanation works. Also, maybe get her some actual kid-friendly vitamins that look different? That way she has her own 'special' ones.

As a fitness pro, I've seen this happen a lot! Those gummies DO look like candy. My husband refused to take them at first because he said the texture was 'weird and sticky' - like he's one to talk about health choices! 😂 Seriously though: 1) Store them out of reach 2) Consider switching to pill form if safety's a concern 3) Teach kids early about supplement safety. Maybe make it a game? 'Mommy's vitamins help her run fast, yours help you grow strong!'
