THREAD: Started biotin gummies for sleep, but wow - unexpected benefits!Started by FitnessFanatic45

Hey everyone! So I've been taking these biotin gummies for about 3 weeks now, mainly because I read they could help with sleep quality (I'm a nature photographer and early mornings are brutal when I'm tossing all night). The sleep thing is... okay, maybe slightly better? But here's the weird part: my skin is GLOWING. Like, people are asking what skincare I'm using. I haven't changed anything else! Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal with biotin?

Interesting. I take a minimalist approach - just fish oil and a multivitamin. But biotin is known for hair/skin/nails. Maybe your body was deficient? Simpler explanation: better sleep from placebo effect, skin from actual biotin. Either way, if it works, keep it simple. Less is more.

OMG YES!!! This happened to me too!!! I started taking them last year for stress (read an article lol) and within a month my nails were SO strong and my hair was growing like crazy!!! Biotin is AMAZING for keratin production!!! What brand are you using? I swear by the organic ones with added zinc - it's a GAME CHANGER!!! So happy for you!!!

Thanks both! @TendonTom - that makes sense, I've never really paid attention to biotin before. @UpliftUrsula - I'm using the Nature's Way ones, just grabbed them at the store. Maybe I'll look into the zinc combo! The skin thing is wild - I was out shooting sunrise yesterday and my hiking buddy said I looked 'refreshed' even at 5 AM. Not complaining!
