THREAD: Biotin Gummies on Sale - Too Good to Be True or Just a Great Deal?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand biotin gummies on sale for like half the price of the name-brand ones I usually get. Has anyone tried these? I'm wondering if the lower price means they're lower quality or if I should stock up while they're cheap. My hair and nails could use the boost, but I don't want to waste money on something that doesn't work.

OP, great find! As a fitness pro, I always check the labels first. Costco's Kirkland brand is usually solid - they often have similar ingredients to pricier brands but cut costs on marketing. Look at the biotin dosage per serving and check for fillers like artificial colors or high-fructose corn syrup. Sometimes sales are just overstock clearances. I'd say grab a bottle and try it for a month - if you see results, it's a steal!

Interesting topic! As a yoga instructor, I approach supplements mindfully. Price doesn't always equal quality - I've found affordable gummies at Target that worked wonderfully. Key things: check if they're third-party tested (look for USP or NSF seals) and whether they use natural flavors/sweeteners. Sometimes store brands are made by the same manufacturers as premium ones. Maybe buy one bottle to test? Your body will tell you if it's working.

Night shift worker here - I feel you on wanting affordable options! I grabbed some biotin gummies at my local pharmacy last month when they were BOGO. Honestly? They've been working just as well as the expensive ones I used before. My night shift dryness is better and my nails seem stronger. Unless there's a huge difference in ingredients list, I'd say go for it. Saving money on supplements means more for coffee to survive these shifts lol.
