Hey everyone, I've been noticing more and more gummy vitamins on the shelves and I'm honestly concerned. They're loaded with sugar, artificial colors, and basically turning supplements into candy. What happened to purity? I teach yoga and preach clean living - this feels like a step backwards for health. Anyone else bothered by this 'candy-fication' of our supplements?

FloraFinn925 I get where you're coming from, but as a fitness pro, I've seen clients who NEVER took vitamins before now sticking with gummies daily. The convenience factor is huge! Yes, some have sugar, but many brands offer sugar-free options now. If it gets people taking their vitamins consistently, that's a win in my book. What specific brands are you looking at?

The sugar content is indeed problematic for optimal biohacking. Many gummies use glucose syrup or sucrose which spikes insulin - counterproductive for metabolic health. I've analyzed several brands and found the absorption rates are often lower than capsules due to the gelatin matrix. However, the compliance argument is valid. Have you considered liposomal or sublingual alternatives, FloraFinn925?

lol I love my gummy vitamins! They're like little tech gadgets for your health - fun and easy to use. I set reminders on my phone and actually remember to take them. The sugar is minimal compared to actual candy, and some days it's my only 'treat'. Maybe try the sugar-free ones? My smartwatch shows my vitals are fine so I think it's working!

Thanks all! VibeVitamins - I was looking at some popular store brands that had like 3g sugar per serving. XenonX - interesting point about absorption! I haven't tried liposomal but maybe I should. FuelFrank - I get the convenience, but shouldn't health supplements prioritize purity over being a 'treat'? Maybe I'm just old-school wanting plain capsules...
