THREAD: Elderberry Gummies: Love the Berry Blast, Hate the Citrus Zing - What Should I Try Next?Started by GlowGigi

Hey everyone, need some quick advice before my next grocery run! I'm obsessed with the Berry Blast elderberry gummies - they're the only thing my picky toddler will actually take without a fight. But I tried the Citrus Zing flavor last week and... yikes. Tasted like cleaning products mixed with sadness. What's the consensus on the best flavor to try next? I'm sleep-deprived and can't handle another disappointing purchase!

GlowGigi, I feel you! As someone who spends hours in nature photographing berries, I'm pretty particular about flavors. The Wild Harvest blend is fantastic - it has subtle honey notes that complement the elderberry without overpowering it. Much more natural tasting than that artificial citrus one. Have you considered mixing flavors? Sometimes I'll do Berry Blast in the morning and Wild Harvest at night for variety.

omg the Citrus Zing is THE WORST. Tried it during my night shift last week and it almost woke me up too much (in a bad way). The Midnight Berry version is my go-to - it's got a deeper, almost wine-like flavor that's perfect for my weird hours. Plus the bottle says it has extra zinc which helps since I'm around so many people at the hospital. Berry Blast is good too but Midnight Berry feels more 'adult' if that makes sense?

Thanks both! Wild Harvest sounds promising - my kid might go for the honey angle. And DewyDaphne, Midnight Berry sounds intriguing but worried it might be too strong for little palates. Maybe I'll get both and see which one works better for us. Anyone tried the Tropical Twist version? Saw it on sale but worried it might be Citrus Zing 2.0...

Tropical Twist is actually decent! It's more pineapple-forward than citrus. Not my personal favorite (I prefer the earthier flavors), but definitely better than Citrus Zing. Pro tip: check the ingredient list - the ones with real fruit extracts tend to taste better than the ones with just 'natural flavors.' Happy supplementing!
