THREAD: Found Magnesium Gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, just saw a big tub of magnesium gummies at Costco for like half the price I usually pay at my local pharmacy. They're the same brand I usually get (Nature's Way). Is this a legit steal, or does the lower price mean they're cutting corners on quality somehow? Worried I might be getting weaker stuff or fillers.

OP, good catch. Price ≠ quality directly, but check the label closely. Compare the elemental magnesium per serving (usually citrate or glycinate is best for absorption). Sometimes sales are just overstock or bulk discounts. Costco's Kirkland brand is often solid, but if it's a third party, verify it's not near expiry. I'd say it's probably fine—just do your due diligence on the specs.

I grab mine from Target when they're on sale—night shift wrecks my sleep, and magnesium helps. As long as the dosage matches what you need, go for it. I've never noticed a difference with cheaper ones, but I'm not super picky. Maybe avoid if they have a ton of extra sugar or artificial stuff tho.

If it's the same brand, it's likely the same product. Companies don't usually make separate batches for different stores. I'd buy it and not overthink. Simpler = better.

lol i treat supplements like tech—sometimes you get a deal on last year's model. Check the reviews online if you're worried. Costco's return policy is killer anyway, so low risk. I'd say go for it and report back if they taste weird or something!
