Hey everyone, need to share this funny/scary moment from yesterday. My 4-year-old son found my bottle of adult multivitamin gummies on the kitchen counter and thought they were 'special candy.' He managed to open the child-proof cap (impressive, I know) and ate THREE before I caught him! He said they tasted 'like strawberry candy' and asked for more. I called poison control just to be safe—they said he'd be fine since it's just vitamins, but now I'm worried he'll try it again. Anyone else have kids (or spouses!) who confuse these with treats? How do you store yours?

Oh man, this takes me back! When my now-teenager was little, she called my gummies 'mommy's special jelly beans' and would beg for them. I ended up buying a lockbox for all supplements after she tried to climb the pantry shelves to reach them. Honestly, the child-proof caps are no match for determined toddlers, haha. On a nostalgic note, I miss when she thought vitamins were magical—now she rolls her eyes at my 'hippie health stuff.'

As a yoga instructor, I'm all about mindful consumption, but kids don't get that! My husband is the culprit in our house—he REFUSES to take the gummies because he says the texture is 'too chewy and weird.' He'd rather swallow pills, which cracks me up because he'll eat gummy bears by the handful! Maybe try explaining to your son that they're 'big-kid vitamins' and keep them in a high cabinet? Sending calm vibes your way!

LOL, I feel this! I'm a digital nomad traveling with my 6-year-old, and we once had a hotel incident where she mistaked my melatonin gummies for 'bedtime candy.' She didn't sleep well that night, but at least it was harmless. Now I use a travel pill case with a combo lock—game changer! Also, maybe try a sticker on the bottle like 'GROWN-UP STUFF'? Kids are too smart these days.
