I just can't get over how much sugar is in these so-called 'healthy' gummy vitamins! Picked up a bottle at the store and it's like 5g per serving - that's basically candy! What happened to good old-fashioned pills or powders without all the additives? Feels like we're tricking ourselves into thinking junk is good for us.

I hear you Quinn, but as someone who works 60hr weeks, I'll take the sugar hit if it means I actually remember to take my vitamins. Pills made me gag and I'd forget them half the time. The gummies are tasty and I stick with the routine now. Maybe not perfect, but better than nothing right?

It's not just the sugar - think about the packaging! All those plastic bottles for something that could be sold in bulk or refillable containers. And the artificial colors? No thanks. I stick with whole foods and occasional powdered greens mixed in water. Less waste, no sneaky sugars.

Guys, there ARE low-sugar options out there! I use a brand with only 2g from organic tapioca syrup and they work great. The bioavailability of some nutrients in gummy form can actually be better than pills. Plus, my kids would NEVER take vitamins without the gummy option. It's about finding quality brands, not dismissing the whole category!

Guru, even 2g adds up if you're taking multiple supplements! And PeakPaula has a point about packaging. FitnessFanatic - I get the convenience, but shouldn't we aim for BOTH health AND purity? Feels like we're compromising too much for what's essentially a treat.
