THREAD: Weird side effect from my multivitamin gummies - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey everyone, been taking these multivitamin gummies for about 2 weeks now (the brand with the little bear shapes). They taste great and I feel more energetic, but I've noticed something weird - my pee is like NEON yellow. Not just dark, but literally bright highlighter color. It's not painful or anything, just... alarming. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried?

Bro, TOTALLY normal! Happens to me every time I take my pre-workout gummies. It's just the B vitamins flushing out - your body only absorbs what it needs. Means they're working! I get the same thing after my 5am Crossfit sesh. As long as you're drinking enough water (gallon a day minimum), you're golden. Literally. ๐Ÿ’ช

Ah, the rainbow urine phenomenon! This is actually a beautiful sign of detoxification. The bright color indicates your liver is processing those synthetic vitamins efficiently. Have you considered switching to an organic, dye-free brand? The artificial colors in commercial gummies can contribute to this. I blend my own with elderberry and turmeric - much gentler on the system. ๐ŸŒฟ

OMG yes! I thought I was going crazy. Been taking the gummy vitamins since my toddler started sleeping through the night (finally!) and my pee looks like it glows in the dark. My husband joked that we could use it as a nightlight for the baby's room ๐Ÿ˜‚. Seriously though, it freaked me out at first but my doctor said it's harmless. Just make sure you're not taking more than the recommended dose!

Standard riboflavin (B2) excretion. Nothing to worry about - happens with most B-complex supplements. I keep a bottle at my desk and notice the same effect. Pro tip: if you're concerned about the color during work meetings, take them at night instead. More efficient for us busy professionals anyway. Just track your water intake - dehydration makes it more noticeable.
