THREAD: Gift help! Omega-3 gummies for aging parent OR fitness friend?Started by OP

Hey everyone, need some advice! I'm looking to get a 'health pack' or some specific gummy vitamins as a gift. I have two people in mind: my dad (70s, wants to stay active but joints are creaky) and my friend who's super into fitness (runs marathons, always talking about recovery). Both could use omega-3s, right? I want something that actually works, not just candy. Budget is flexible but don't wanna break the bank. What do you recommend? Brands? Should I get different ones for each?

OP, you're thinking right—omega-3 gummies are clutch for both cases. I've tried like 5 brands this year lol. For your dad, look for ones with added vitamin D and turmeric for joints—I use 'VitalityBoost Omega+', it's a newer brand but the bioavailability is insane. For your fitness friend, go with 'FitFuel Omega-3 Gummies'—they have extra B-vitamins for energy. Both are on subscription, saves 20%. Early adopters unite! 😎

RhinoRich, those sound so processed! OP, please consider sourcing. I give my kids (and my mom) 'PureHarvest' omega-3 gummies—they're organic, non-GMO, and use algae-based DHA (sustainable, no fishy aftertaste!). They're gentle on sensitive stomachs too. My mom says her brain fog improved. For a health pack, pair with their elderberry gummies. A bit pricier, but worth it for clean ingredients. Avoid anything with artificial colors!

omg i love this thread! i actually make my own omega-3 gummies sometimes—it's easy with gelatin, flax oil, and honey. but for gifting, i'd DIY a 'health pack' with store-bought ones + homemade stuff. for your dad, add some ginger-turmeric gummies i can share the recipe. for your friend, maybe a mini-jar of chia seeds (omega-3 boost!). brand-wise, 'Nature's Way' is decent and affordable if you're not DIY-ing. check the EPA/DHA ratios tho!

student here—i feel you on budget! i got my grandma 'Spring Valley' omega-3 gummies from Walmart last month, like $10 for 60 count. she likes them, no fish burps. for your friend, maybe just get a single bottle to start? fitness ppl can be picky lol. or look for BOGO sales at CVS. honestly, any omega-3 is better than none, gift-wise. good luck!
