THREAD: Gummy Vitamin Powder Flavors - Love Cherry, Hate Orange, What's Next?Started by OP

Hey everyone, need some flavor advice for gummy vitamin powders! I'm obsessed with the cherry flavor from NutriBlend - it mixes so smooth and tastes like actual cherries, not that fake medicine taste. But their orange flavor? Absolutely terrible, it's like drinking Tang that went bad. What's the consensus on the 'best' flavor I should try next? Looking for something that doesn't make me gag like the orange did.

OP, have you tried the berry blast from VitaMix Pro? I've been tracking my micronutrient intake with my smart shaker (syncs to an app, obviously) and the berry flavor consistently scores highest in my taste tests. The tech specs show it uses natural flavor compounds that don't degrade when mixed with cold water, unlike some cheaper brands. Avoid anything citrus-based if orange didn't work for you - the pH levels might be similar.

As someone who experiments with these in recipes, I'd recommend the tropical punch flavor from Nature's Way. It's versatile! I've blended it into my morning smoothies and even used it in homemade energy bars. The orange ones do have that weird aftertaste you mentioned - I think it's the vitamin C ester they use. Tropical punch has mango and pineapple notes that mask any supplement-y flavor. Pro tip: mix it with coconut water instead of tap water for a vacation-in-a-glass vibe.

Dude, I feel you on the orange - tastes like cleaning products lol. For my weekend hikes and kayak trips, I swear by the lemon-lime electrolyte powders. Refreshing without being overpowering, and it doesn't get that chalky texture when you're mixing it in a Nalgene on the trail. The citrus is much milder than straight orange. My adventure buddy swears by the watermelon flavor too, but I haven't tried it yet.

If you're hitting the gym regularly, go for the grape flavor from PureFuel. No artificial sweeteners, just stevia and real grape extract. I take it post-workout and it actually helps with recovery - the taste is subtle enough that I don't get sick of it after weeks of daily use. Stay away from anything too sweet if you're watching your sugar intake though. The cherry you like is probably good because it's tart rather than cloying.
